The arms were officially adopted on September 27, 2018.
The gold and stars are taken from the seal of the knight Louis Joubert, first knight of Saint-Julien who had the church built in the 12th century. The blue refers to the Cher river and the vine leaves to the importance of viticulture. The wolf's head recalls that the last wolf having been killed in 1869 in the forest of Montpoupon.
