Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1965 and show in the upper part a tool, known as a Winde and used as a canting symbol in the local seals since 1596. The lower half shows the arms of the Lords of Wernau, Lords of Unterbohingen. The latter was incorporated into Wendlingen am Neckar in 1940.
