|
Russian | В пурпурном поле над волнисто пересечённой на золото и лазурь оконечностью две серебряные казачьи шашки накрест и поверх них золотой лапчатый крест. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 22, 2006.
The center of the district, the village of Dinsky, was founded in 1794 by the Black Sea Cossack army. The golden cross is one of the symbols of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks and, in combination with the Cossack sabers, symbolizes the Black Sea Cossacks. The special role of Cossacks in the development of the area is shown in purple, the traditional colour for the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks.
