In azuur een vliegtuig van goud van beneden gezien en gaande over een turbinewiel met 24 bladen van zilver. Het geheel omgeven door de vastgestelde omlijsting met in het ovaalvormige plaatje de cijfers ‘980’ in sabel en met de embleemspreuk ‘curae cedit fatum’.
