HAYANGE
Département: Moselle
Additions: 1971 Marspich
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on April 13, 1950.
The arms show in the first and fourth quarter the arms of Luxembourg, as the village officially was part of Luxembourg. In practice the Counts of Bar ruled the village and their arms are shown in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. The miner's tools refer to the (former) importance of mining in the municipality.
