Origin/meaning
The castle symbolises the Launay Manor house, the patriarchal cross symbolizes the Good King René d'Anjou, the fleur-de-lis reminds the return to the crown under Louis XI.
The lower half refers to Petit Port (small harbour), known as Saint-Maimbeuf, with a ship and the Loire.
