Origin/meaning
The arms were officially registered on March 18, 2005.
The arms show the Archangel St. Michael with a devil. The symbolism is taken from the oldest known seal of the village, dating from 1732. Normally the Archangel is seen slaying a dragon as a symbol for the devil, a devil in heraldry is less common.
