French | Coupé ondé: au 1er parti au I d'azur à la couronne de laurier d'or, au II d’or à l'épée basse d'argent posée en barre supportant un manteau de gueules, au 2e de sinople à l'épi de blé d’or accosté de deux agneaux affrontés d'argent. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The wreath refers to the long history since Roman times when the name was Cornosa. The cloak and dagger are the symbols for St. Martin of Tours, the local patron saint. The base refers to agriculture and sheep rearing, the two main activities in the municipality.
The blue colour and the division line refer to the Airin river in the municipality.
