Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on April 8, 2022.
The saltire is the symbol for Saint Andrew, patron saint of the church. The horseshoe refers to the fact that in the town there is the largest breeding farm of Auxois draft horses in the region. The armorial bearings are those of Guillaume Du Bois, former lord of the place who built the local castle.
The chief is part of the arms of the Bourgogne region.
