The Lions symbolizes the Participation in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium during World War II. The Red Part symbolizes Valour and the White Part the Snow that covered the Battlefield. The Broken tilting Spear symbolizes the Breaking of the German Offensive. The Crescent show the First Combat of the Regiment during World War II, in Algeria.
