In Rot mit einem schwarz gegitterten linken silbernen Obereck ein goldener Ritter auf einem nach rechts schreitenden golden gezäumten silbernen Ross mit silbernem Schild mit schwarzem Leistenkreuz, in der Rechten eine schwarze Lanze mit silberner Spitze haltend.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 30, 1993.
The knight om horseback symbolises the local patron saint. St. Gangolf. The knkight also appeared on the local seal of the village. The free canton symbolises the long tradition in the village of making paper.
