Parti: au 1er d'or à trois bandes d'azur et au chef de gueules chargé d'un château couvert d'or, ouvert de gueules, au 2e de gueules au dragon d'or lampassé d'argent et au chef de gueules à la crois cléchée, vidée et pommeté de douze pièces d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on February 26, 1993.
The castle symbolises the entrance of the manor of Maine de Biran located in Grateloup. The cross is the symbol of the Occitaine region.
The bends are taken from the arms of the Maine de Biran family. The dragon is a symbol for the local patron saint, St. Front, who killed a dragon.
