Origin/meaning

The arms refer to the former importance of cherry cultivating in the area by the crossed tools to pick cherries from the trees, as well as two bunches of cherries. The grapes indicate the other crop in the municipality.

The crosier refers to the Bishops of Vabres, which had many rights in the parish. The base shows the Tarn river.
