Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in December 2020.

The two rings represent the merger of Briquesmesnil and Floxicourt in 1925. The ermine filed is taken from the arms of the Leroy de Valanglart family, last lords of Briquemesnil. The silver lion in green is taken from the arms of Lord Jean Le Normand de Briquemesnil in 1467 (mayor of Amiens).

The garb refers to the agricultural character of the village and Saint Martin on his horse in the fourth quarter is the local patron saint.
