Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in September 2021.

The scallop is the attribute of Saint Roch and the orb the attribute of Saint Sauviour, the local patron saints.

The red kite head refers to the couples of this bird living in the town.

The baron's crown recalls that Costa was a Barony.
