Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on December 19, 2002.
The gold and the lion are taken from the arms of the family of La Corbinaie, former lords of Bourgon.
The spear with the banner of England refers to the Battle of La Brossinière on 26 September 1423, between the forces of England and France, which was won by the French.
The key indicates that the patron saint of Bourgon is St. Peter. It is azure to indicate the presence of waters in the municipality.
