AIR FORCE GLOBAL STRIKE COMMAND, US AIR FORCE
Activated : August 7, 2009
Headquarters : Barksdale AFB, Louisiana
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
AF Global Strike Command was formed in 2009 and took over the Strategic Missiles from the AF Space Command and in 2010 assumed control of the Strategic Bomber Aircraft from the Air Combat Command. Thus the former Strategic Air Command was reborn but with a different name.
