Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 15, 1999.

The arms show a cron and wheat-ears, taken from the old arms of the Užská (Ung) province to which the village historically belonged. The bagpipe (gajdy) is a canting element for the village of Gajdoš in the municipality.
