Shield: Per chevron Gules and Azure, a chevron engrailed at top Or, between in chief two lightning bolts in chevron reversed and in base six wavys issunat at nombril point, three to dexter and three to sinister, of the third, overall a wheat stalk palewise throughout of the last emitting nine spears, counterchanged Or and Gules.

Origin/meaning

The Chevron symbolises Support. The Engrail against the red background alludes to red smoke, for chemical. The yellow wavys on blue background symbolises decontamination service. The Wheat stalk alludes to the bakery services provided. The Spears signify readiness to respond to any designated mission.

The arms were approved on 18 September 2006. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 100th Supply and Service Battalion on 10 October 1966. It was redesignated for the 100th Support Battalion on 18 September 2006.
