In Silber ein schwarzer Schrägbalken, belegt mit drei goldenen Kugeln.
Origin/meaning
The municipality was founded in 1938 and named after the Estate of Wernau, to which both former municipalities belonged. The new city adopted in the same year the arms of the former Lords of Wernau as its arms.
