D'orangé au chevron cousu de sinople accompagné de deux coquilles d'argent en chef et d'une croisette pattée cousue de gueules en pointe.

Origin/meaning

The scallops are the symbol for St. James, the cross is taken from the Frere family and the chevron refers to the fortified mansion in the municipality.

The silver refers to the lead and silver mines, the green to the agricultural character of the municipality and the orange to the fires lit of Mt. Pothu on the spring solistice.
