- (fr) D'or au mont rocheux d'argent mouvant des flancs et posé sur une rivière d'azur mouvant de la pointe, sommé à senestre de la Bête du Gévaudan, rampante, de sable, armée, lampassée et allumée de gueules et surmonté à dextre d'une croix latine aux quatre extrémités enflammées de gueules.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on August 4, 2014.
The rock is a canting element. The lion with a wolf's head is the legendary Bête du Gévaudan (Beast of Gévaudan). The cross refers to St. Thecla, the local patron saint.
