Official blazon

Shield: Celeste, a mailed dexter fist issuing from base Proper, graping four lighting flashes in saltire Buff.
Crest: That for regiments and separate battalions of the Army reserve: From a wreath Argent and Celeste, the Lexington Minute Man Proper. The Statue of the Minute Man Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the Common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Motto: Lightning Carriers.

Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in ehigth overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Celeste, a mailed dexter fist issuing from base Proper, graping four lighting flashes in saltire Buff. Attached below the shield is a light blue scroll inscribed "LIGHTNING CARRIERS" in gold.

Origin/meaning

Buff and Light Blue are those of the Quartermaster Corps. The four lightning flashes symbolise the Unit's campaigns, while the mailed fist represents total military preparedness. Together thay suggest the Unit's Motto.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 15 August 1997.
