State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Waldshut
Additions : 1973 Altenschwand, Hütten; 1975 Bergalingen, Hottingen, Willaringen

Wappen von Rickenbach (Baden)/Arms (crest) of Rickenbach (Baden)
Official blazon
German In gespaltenem Schild vorn in Silber eine gestürzte rote Geige, hinten in Blau auf goldenem Dreiberg eine silberne Tanne.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1910 and confirmed on August 13, 1975.

In the 19th century the village used a seal with a pine tree and the letters R and B. The State Archives proposed in 1910 the above arms, in which the pine tree was derived from the old seal. The violin was derived from the arms of the Lords of Wieladingen, who had many possessions in the area in the 13th and 14th century.
