English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms show in the lower half the so-called Tierbrunnen (German for fountain of animals), a legendary fountain connected to the founding of the village. The green, shepherd and sheep also refer to the agricultural character of the village.
The chief symbolises the former water mills, which were important in milling the local grain.
