Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in December 2016.

The cross is the symbol of St. Maurice, the local patron saint. The four smaller crosses refer to the four parishes in the municipality, as well as the four former estates to which the municipality historically belonged.

The red and gold are the colours of the Languedoc region.
