Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in November 2021.

The blue field with silver bend is the arms of the Champagne region in which the municipality is situated. The small clover is taken from the arms of the De Jacquin de Margerie family, former lords of the village in the 18th century.

The other half shows a garb as a symbol for agriculture and a dragon asa a symbol for St. Margareth, the local patron saint.
