Origin/meaning
The arms above were proposed in 1994. I have no idea whethe rthey have been approved by the municipality.
The church in the arms is derived from the arms of the Abbey of Eaucourt, which had large possessions in the municipality. The arms of the Abbey showed a church with two stars in the upper corners.
The two lions, which replace the stars, are derived from the arms of the Counts of Montmorency, who also had several possessions in the area.
