Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 18, 1993.

The upper half of the arms shows the initial of the municipality. At the same time the chevrons are used as a canting symbol, they symbolise the roofs of houses, Hausen meaning houses. The cross in the lower half symbolises the local church and patron saint St. Vitus. The bar with the wavy bar symbolises the Nesse river in the municipality.
