Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on April 11, 2008.

The ceramic pot refers to pottery of the Knovíz culture, a bronze age subculture of the Urnfield culture, named after the municipality. A pot of the same culture makes an appearance in the arms of Újezd u Svatého Kříže.
