D'or au coupeau de sinople mouvant d'ondes d'argent; chaussé de sinople; le tout sommé d'un chef de gueules chargé d'une croisette tréflée d'argent adextrée d'une rose d'or et senestrée d'un cœur du même.
Origin/meaning
The arms show the local vally with the Montrion Lake and the canting Mont Rond (round mountain). The cross is a symbol for the Aulps Abbey thich had possessions in the area. The rose and the heart symbolize the two villages Montriond and Chéravaux.
