  • (fr) Tiercé en pairle renversé: au 1et de sinople à la colombe en vol d'argent tenant dans son bec la sainte Ampoule d'or, au 2e d'or à trois croissants de gueules, au 3e d'azur à trois fasces ondées d'argent et à l'ancre versée de sable brochant sur les fasces.

Origin/meaning

The dove with the ampule is the symbol of St. Remigius, the local patron saint. The three crescents are taken from the arms of the de Ham family, lords of the village from 1152-1244. The base refers to the Somme and the Somme Canal and its former importance for shipping.
