Origin/meaning

The arms have been used since 1990, but were only officially adopted in 2003. The arms are those of the La Farelle family, lords of Aumes since 1678. On April 23, 2003, Guy La Farelle, the head of the family, approved the use of the family arms by the municipality with some small colour changes.
