Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in May 2001.

The blue field represents the streams and the many ponds, also symbolised by the rushes placed around the shield.

The silver Y represents the confluence of the Dorme and the Roselet in the municipality.

The grill is the attribute of Saint Laurent, patron of the parish, and the cinquefoil comes from the arms of the Pauly family, former lords of the village.
