Origin/meaning
The arms show (elements of) the arms of the Rouville family and their relatives. The third quarter shows the arms of Jean de Rouville, who founded the local castle. The second quarter shows the arms of the Roguée family, for the wife of Jean de Rouville. The first quarter shows the arms of Goegeul de Rouville andthe fourth shows the arms of the Ferrières family, who also married into the Rouville family.
