HANVILLER
Département : Moselle
French | De sinople au massacre de cerf d'or surmonté d'une étoile de six rais cousue de gueules; à la bordure d'or. |

Origin/meaning
The antler and the star are taken from the arms of the Gentersberg family, who had a castle in the municipality. The bordure is taken from the Bitche county to which the village belonged. The green colour is a canting element (Hagen is a German word for forest).
