English | Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a gold horizontal rectangle arced convexly at top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, the stylized head of a hawk in blue and gold. Attached above the hawks head, a blue designation scroll inscribed "GRETNA" in gold letters. Attached below the hawks head, a blue designation scroll inscribed "HAWKS" in gold letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height. |
Origin/meaning
Blue and gold are the School’s colors. The Hawk is the School’s mascot. The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 5 January 2006.
