Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 9, 2014.

The bend is the symbol of the Champagne region, in which the municipality is situated. The Gothic letter H is the initial of the village. The star is the symboll for St. Mary, the local patron saint. The lower half, with the green field and wheatears refers to the agricultural character of the village.
