Crest: That for regiments and separate battalions of the Florida Army National Guard: From a wreath Or and Gules (Brick Red) an alligator atatant proper.
Motto: Swift and secure.
Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in heigt overall consisting of a shield blazoned as follows: Or, on a saltire Gules (Brick red) a cross throughhout Sable; in the first quarter cantonwise, two squares in pale of the second each charged with a smaller square of the third; in the second quarter a scorpion Tenné. Attached below a Gold Motto scroll inscribed "SWIFT AND SECURE" in Black Letters.
