Official blazon
Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a vertical rectangle, arched convexly at top and bottom, overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width an insignia blazoned: Azure, issuant from a chaplet of tobacco leaves in base Or, fimbriated Azure, an eagle’s head Argent, detailed Sable, beaked and eyed of the second. All within a narrow Black border. Attached above the rectangle, a Gold scroll inscribed “EAST BLADEN” in Black letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border.
Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per pale Azure and Argent a roundel countercharged displaying an eagle’s head erased Or. Festooned at the bottom of the shield by a wreath of four tobacco leaves and beneath that a Blue scroll turned upwards Gold and inscribed “LEADERSHIP” in Gold letters.
