Origin/meaning
The Badge is composed of Spearpoints symbolising the present Top of Regimental Colours and Standards, and of The Fleur-de-lys of the Colours and Standards of the Royal Army. In the Middle the Eagle of the Armies of Napoelon I and III. Thus representing the Main Historical Periods of the French Army.
