Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on March 10, 2020.
The horse head is a symbol for the local patron saint, St. Martin of Tours. The deer is the symbol of St. Gilles, the second patron saint of the local church.
The division line and the blue lower half symbolise the Renarde river. The tools refer to the former importance of the sandstone quarries and the garb refers to agriculture.
