Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 3, 2014.

The bends are taken from the arms of the Myr family, which had some estates in the area at the beginning of the 17th century. The lion is taken from the arms of the Montredon family. The local castle was owned by the Marquis de Montredon de Scorailles until 1905.

The crossed candles are the symbol for the local patron saint, St. Blasius.
