Origin/meaning

The garb refers to the agricultural character of the village. The three rings symbolise the three villages, which became one municipality in 1806; Mont-lès-Etrelles, Les Malbuissons and, Villers-Chemin.

The chief is taken from the arms of the Haute-Saône département.
