SPACE DELTA 3, US SPACE FORCE
History: Established as 73 Aerospace Surveillance Wing, and activated, on 1 November 1966. Organized on 1 Jan 1967. Inactivated on 30 April 1971. Redesignated as 73 Space Surveillance Group on 10 February 1989. Activated on 1 March 1989. Redesignated as 73 Space Group on 15 May 1992. Inactivated on 26 April 1995. Redesignated as Space Delta 3, and activated, on 24 July 2020. Changed status from unit of the United States Air Force armed force to unit of the United States Space Force armed force on 21 October 2020.
