Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on June 21, 1999.

The upper part of the arms show a Pegasus, taken from the crest of the arms of the Serényi von Kis-Serény family, who owned the local castle from 1648-1811.

The lower half shows symbols for the importance of viticulture and wine making in the village: two grape knives and a bunch of grapes under a grape press.
