Origin/meaning
The arms are a combination of elements from the arms of two families, who owned the village in previous centuries. The trees are taken from the arms of the Turenne family, the number three was chosen as the family ruled the village for three centuries. The free quarter shoes the arms of the Dubois de Saint Hilaire family, last Lords of Saint-Hilaire-Peyroux.
