PARVILLERS-LE-QUESNOY

Département : Somme
Additions : 1969 Parvillers, Quesnoy-en-Santerre

Blason de Parvillers-le-Quesnoy
Official blazon
French D'or à trois chevrons d'azur entravaillés avec un chêne de sinople englanté du champ, passant sous le deuxième chevron et brochant sur les deux autres.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on May 17, 2022.

The arms reflect the history of the two villages. The blue chevrons are taken from the arms of the De Rely family, last lords of Parvillers in the 18th century. The oak tree is canting for Quesnoy-en-Santerre, as Quesnoy refers to a "place of chestnuts".
