MANOM

Département : Moselle

Blason de Manom/Coat of arms (crest) of {{PAGENAME
Official blazon
French Parti: au 1er d'azur à trois fasces d'or, au 2e d'azur au lion d'argent.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 9, 1958.

The arms combine elements from the arms of the former rulers of the area. The lion is taken from the arms of the Lagrange family, who owned the main part of the village until the 15th century. The three bars are taken from the arms of the Lords of Meibourg, who also owned an estate in the area in late medieval ties.
