Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 16, 2012.

The village is located on the left bank of the channel of the Pechora River, the Visnichevsky Shar. The village is divided by the Kray-Yam river into two parts, connected by a humpbacked pedestrian bridge, shown in the arms.

The first church in the village Veliko-vysokochnoe was built in 1844 in the name of St. Nicholas, which is symbolised by a bell. The traditional occupation of the population is fishing, hence the two fish in base.
